Welcome to the online home of the Dallas ISD Superintendent’s Scholarship Run benefiting the Superintendent’s Scholarship FundThe run, scheduled for May 16, 2015 will feature a certified 5K course and one-mile fun run/walk. This is the inaugural year for the run, which replaces the district’s golf tournament previously held to raise funds for scholarships.

Since 2000, the Dallas ISD’s Superintendent’s Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $2 million in college scholarships to graduating high school seniors. These scholarships help realize the promise of Destination 2020, our district’s mission to have all students graduate college- and career-ready by year 2020.

Education is about creating opportunities and ensuring our children have options as they grow into adults. The people who support Dallas ISD know this is true, and know that together we provide the greatest chance for our students to succeed in school and life. The community is the foundation of our district, and your participation in this event directly impacts our students’ futures.

Tim and I invite you to join us at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, for the Dallas ISD Superintendent’s Scholarship Run at Woodrow Wilson High School, 100 S. Glasgow Drive, Dallas, Texas. This family-friendly event will benefit a deserving group of young people, poised to make an impact on the world.
